Is Jalen Brunson playing tonight? Latest Knicks vs Celtics preseason update
Basketball is back! Well, the preseason, at least. The New York Knicks will be back in action after an extremely long 150 days since the 2022-23 season ended in Miami.
Summer League in July wasn’t as exciting for fans as last year, but at least the FIBA World Cup provided more entertainment. Jalen Brunson, Josh Hart, and Team USA didn’t get the desired result, but RJ Barrett and Canada made history by clinching their first Olympics berth since 2000.
With the offseason in the rearview mirror, what matters now is that NBA basketball has returned. The Knicks’ first preseason game will provide a look at what’s to come on October 25.

Jalen Brunson will start for New York. Tom Thibodeau said he’ll play the usual starters, but he implied that they’ll be on a minutes restriction.
