There will be NBA basketball played in Las Vegas this year, and no, we’re not talking about Summer League. The In-Season Tournament will debut in the 2023-24 season, and the New York Knicks could be the first team to win the NBA Cup.

Because the In-Season Tournament is a new concept, there are rightfully a lot of questions about what it is.

Where will the NBA In-Season Tournament be held?

Group stage games and the quarterfinals will be held at team arenas. The semifinals and championship will be in Las Vegas at the T-Mobile Arena, home of the Aces and Golden Knights.

The NBA In-Season Tournament will start on Nov. 3 and end on Dec. 9. Here’s a look at New York’s group schedule:

  • Friday, Nov. 3: New York at Milwaukee, 7:30 p.m. ET
  • Friday, Nov. 17: New York at Washington, 7 p.m. ET
  • Friday, Nov. 24: Miami at New York, 7:30 p.m. ET
  • Tuesday, Nov. 28: Charlotte at New York, 7:30 p.m. ET

If the Knicks advance past the group stage, the team will play in the quarterfinals (Dec. 4-5). The semifinals will be held on Dec. 7, and the championship on Dec. 9.

The knockout rounds are single-elimination games and consist of the quarterfinals and semifinals. The winners of the semifinals matchups will clash in the championship.
